Phoenix Forum Time Again
Wednesday, February 24th, 2010It is that time of year again. The 11th annual Phoenix Forum officially opened for registration on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. For the sixth year in a row, the entire Tempe Mission Palms Hotel has been reserved for the event. The show dates are April 8-10, 2010.
Even though I am planning on cutting back on the number of shows I do each year, The Phoenix Forum is the one show that will never be cut. I think the warm weather does something to change everyone’s attitude. Or it could be the drinking that starts out at the pool by noon. Either way, The Phoenix Forum (TPF) is always a fun-filled adult webmaster b-to-b event that knows how to mix business with pleasure. Having the entire hotel blocked off for The Phoenix Forum and The Gay Phoenix Forum enables attendees to relax and learn in one location.
As is the custom, the show will include seminars, workshops and speed networking. Because all work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy there will also be the obligatory kickoff party and late night party suites as well as the delicious lunch buffets and the free “snack shack” with has been so popular in previous years.
For the golfers, the sixth Annual Phoenix Forum Golf Tournament will be held April 7, 2010 with the proceeds going to the ASACP and the Free Speech Coalition.
Registration is required in order to get on the grounds. If you have never attended before, be advised, security will make you show your wristband to get in. The prices go up the longer you wait to register. Registration rates are only $195 per person through March 1, 2010. On March 2 through April 7, the rates go up to $250 a person. On site, registration is $300 per person.
You can visit http://www.thephoenixforum.com for complete details and registration information.
If you have not gotten a room yet, you might as well write off staying at the Tempe Mission Palms. Unless you happen to know someone that has to cancel, those rooms go in less than an hour. So, to help you find somewhere else that is relatively close, I found this list when helping someone else. Good luck.
