The Phoenix Forum 2012 is off to a great start. For the 8th year in a row the show is being held at the Tempe Mission Palms, in Tempe, AZ. The day consisted of lots of meetings, a couple workshops and panels as well as Speed Networking and the ever popular JBM Hooters Happy hours. It is obvious that people are enjoying the warm weather and the seeing of old friends.

Thursday at The European Summit 2012 was basically a wind on down day. We started the morning off with the tapas walk, which was essentially a walking tour of the old section of Barcelona followed up by some tapas at a restaurant at the end of the tour. A little later, a few of us met at a Clos Mont-Blanc wine tasting room to sample a few Spanish wines. They had some good stuff, but I think I will stick with our California wines. These photos were taken at La Xerinola and Sutton, The Club in Barcelona. After the last happy hour at The European Summit 2012, several of us headed out to find something to eat. We ended up on La Rambla at the La Xerinola Restaurante. The food was great and the company even better. After we finished eating, most of us headed back to Hotel Miramar for the Reporo after party.

Eventually, a group of us headed out to a very large nightclub called Sutton, The Club. As you can tell by the photos, the joint was jumping and everyone wanted their photo taken. Read the rest of this entry »
