Internext-expo 2012 begins

Monday, January 16th, 2012

These photos are from Sunday at the 2012 Internet-Expo, held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. GFY had a hospitality suite set up so people could watch some football while warming up for the show. As soon as the show started the activity never stopped with events like the AWE Meet Market and the YNOT Grand Prix with the evening ending at the Hustler Party at the Hustler Club.

I would like to thank our sponsor, Paxum.com for sponsoring the photos from Internext-2012. (more…)

Paxum Payment Solution has continued their agreement with PimpsPromo and will be sponsoring the photos for the upcoming week in Las Vegas, including Internext, AEE and the AVN Awards. All three events will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel, beginning January 15 with the Internext-Expo and culminating on January 21 with the AVN Awards. Internext-Expo is a B2B event while the Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) includes both a B2B trade show, a fan show and the Adult Novelty Expo (ANE)

While Paxum has branded all the photos for the upcoming week, there are still plenty of affordable advertising spots available including banners, skinning of galleries and SMS Mobile Text opportunities. Additionally, PimpsPromo will be in Barcelona for the European Summit and Tempe, AZ for The Phoenix Forum. You can contact me for rates at Lloyd@spp-productions.com.

2012 XBIZ LA Day Two

Friday, January 13th, 2012

These photos are from Wednesday at the adult entertainment B-to-B event, XBIZ LA. The day began with a mix and meet market, which is the substitute for the days of yesteryear when adult shows had large rooms with dozens of large booths. Now it is more intimate and cost effective to have the smaller set up for an hour or two of booths instead of three days. I guess YNOT can get credit for pioneering them back in San Diego. After the Mix & Meet, we had lunch at Simon LA again, followed by another Speed Networking session.

The panels included an anti-piracy discussion with Allison Vivas of Pink Visual and Doug Lichtman, a UCLA Law Professor who is an expert on patent and copyright law, telecommunications regulation and general legal issues pertaining to technology firms and the Internet. It was enlightening to say the least. The keynote was a discussion between Colin Rowntree and Ron Cadwell, which was very entertaining. The day ended for me with the State of the Industry panel, 3 Minute Showoffs and the AWE cocktail reception. (more…)
