The Phoenix Forum 2012 will be held from March 29 through April 1, and PimpsPromo will be there again. This is the 13th annual forum and for the 8th consecutive year it is being held at the Tempe Mission Palms in Tempe, AZ. The Phoenix Forum is one of the few remaining B2B adult webmaster events that seems to attract a large number of affiliates as opposed to primarily program owners and those catering to them, so naturally it is one of the more fun webmaster shows. It does not hurt that Arizona is usually very nice that time of year, so people from all those cold places come flocking to see old friends and make new business. The pool area makes for some great networking and people watching.

Registration for the 2012 Phoenix Forum is currently $275 per person and will be $350 at the door. They have packages set up for those of you that want to bring talent, so I suggest you check out their site for more details. The 2012 European Summit is around the corner and PimpsPromo will be there for one of Europe’s biggest B2B conferences for the adult entertainment industry. The spring edition of the European Summit will be held March 5-8, 2012 in Barcelona, Spain at the Hotel Miramar. I have not been to this particular venue, but if history is any indicator, you can be sure it will be spacious and luxurious. Unfortunately, there are no more rooms at the host hotel, but there are plenty of alternate hotels nearby.

I have attended several of the summits put on by Andreas and Walter so I had a good idea that the show would be packed with events, both for education and networking, and the upcoming schedule proves this summit will be more of the same. From the YNOT Karting Grand Prix on Monday to the tapas and wine tasting on Thursday there will be non-stop opportunities to learn, network and sight-see. These photos are from Friday at the AVN Novelty Expo (ANE) 2012 at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. This is primarily a B2B event with seminars, panels and a few showrooms displaying available hard goods, but on Friday the novelty expo was opened up to the fans, so the exhibitors got a lot more foot traffic.

The panels and seminars included an exclusive interview with Patient Alpha and a keynote featuring Theresa Flynt, Executive VP, LFP Inc. and Michael Klein, Hustler President. It was interesting to hear the similarities between those providing virtual products and those providing hard goods. (more…)
