Phoenix Forum Seminars

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

The Phoenix Forum is just around the corner. One of the important parts of any B-to-B trade show is the seminars they put on. This week I will be on my first trade show panel. I will be sitting on the first seminar of the show, Business 101, which will begin at noon on Thursday, April 8, 2010.

I am scheduled to be joined by the following professionals:

Cory Wayne, Director of Business Development for HustlerCash.com
Jeff Neis, Sr. Account Executive for CCBill.com
Kacy Carlsen, with Naked Hosting
Matt Collins, with MPCollins, L.L.C.
Brad Estes, Operations Manager for Video Secrets.

The moderator will be Lori Z, President of The Adult Broker.

Got Web Host To Sponsor the 2010 Phoenix Forum

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

Got Web Host has announced that they are a Platinum sponsor of the upcoming 2010 Phoenix Forum, being held April 8-10 at the Tempe Palms hotel. The decision to do so was due to the fact that they are “spreading their wings” and wanted to use the show to announce its expansion with the addition of new dedicated hosting plans. These are new dedicated hosting plans that are not meant for SEO. The plans come with five (5) usable IP addresses, Intel dual core, quad core or dual quad core processors and the DirectAdmin control panel. These are nice servers at very affordable prices.

Since it is that time of year, Got Web Host is giving away free passes to the upcoming Phoenix Forum. The first four purchasers of any of the four new dedicated hosting plans will receive a free pass to The Phoenix Forum. This is a $250 value. Once you have placed your order, simply notify them and a pass will be provided. Since Got Web Host is one of my bigger clients, they authorized me to tell my readers first.

Here are a couple examples:

2 x 2.0 GHz, 1 MB cache Dual Core Pentium
RAM: 1 GB DDR 3

Phoenix Forum Time Again

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

It is that time of year again. The 11th annual Phoenix Forum officially opened for registration on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. For the sixth year in a row, the entire Tempe Mission Palms Hotel has been reserved for the event. The show dates are April 8-10, 2010.

Even though I am planning on cutting back on the number of shows I do each year, The Phoenix Forum is the one show that will never be cut. I think the warm weather does something to change everyone’s attitude. Or it could be the drinking that starts out at the pool by noon. Either way, The Phoenix Forum (TPF) is always a fun-filled adult webmaster b-to-b event that knows how to mix business with pleasure. Having the entire hotel blocked off for The Phoenix Forum and The Gay Phoenix Forum enables attendees to relax and learn in one location.

As is the custom, the show will include seminars, workshops and speed networking. Because all work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy there will also be the obligatory kickoff party and late night party suites as well as the delicious lunch buffets and the free “snack shack” with has been so popular in previous years.

For the golfers, the sixth Annual Phoenix Forum Golf Tournament will be held April 7, 2010 with the proceeds going to the ASACP and the Free Speech Coalition.

Registration is required in order to get on the grounds. If you have never attended before, be advised, security will make you show your wristband to get in. The prices go up the longer you wait to register. Registration rates are only $195 per person through March 1, 2010. On March 2 through April 7, the rates go up to $250 a person. On site, registration is $300 per person.

You can visit http://www.thephoenixforum.com for complete details and registration information.

If you have not gotten a room yet, you might as well write off staying at the Tempe Mission Palms. Unless you happen to know someone that has to cancel, those rooms go in less than an hour. So, to help you find somewhere else that is relatively close, I found this list when helping someone else. Good luck.
