Sunday was day three of the first Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention. The final day of AEVC 2012 consisted of an entertaining interview with “The Original Princess of Porn,” Seka; a presentation on the Reality of Condoms in the Porn Industry by Sabrina Deep, “The Art of Anal” by Kelsey Obsession as well as some discussion on online role playing and an inside look at being a virtual sex worker. The evening concluded with a AEVC Wrap Up Party sponsored by LokiPorn.

I would like to congratulate Red Light Center and all the sponsors for a very interesting event. While the weekend started off with many people on webmaster forums scoffing at the idea of a virtual convention, by the end of the show, many of those had joined in the fun and started to realize the benefits of networking in this manner. Today was day one of the first ever adult entertainment virtual convention, appropriately named the same, AEVC. The event is hosted by Red Light Center and sponsored by Cam Contacts, XBIZ, Vstroker, Loki Cash, YNOT, Sexxxtons, Girlfriends Films, Pornstar Tweet and Melonson Adult Productions. The first day was the B2B event and included an opening address by Stephen Yagielowicz, Senior Editor of XBIZ; as well as topical seminars on the role of social media in adult entertainment, laws you need to know about and strategies on monetizing virtual world and gaming websites.

As it was the first day of the first virtual convention of any type for some people, there were some issues with figuring out how to get where you need to be, some audio breakdowns and freezing of the software, but for free, it was a minor inconvenience. Saturday and Sunday will be the B2C portion of the show and judging by the booths I saw today, the vendors ware ready to wow them. Even though it is billed as B2C for the next two days, there are plenty of informational panels happening on both days that are targeting adult webmasters. Like I said, registration is free, so check it out. It is better than going out in the snow and cold anyway. (more…)

Paxum Payment Solution has continued their agreement with PimpsPromo and will be sponsoring the photos for the upcoming week in Las Vegas, including Internext, AEE and the AVN Awards. All three events will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel, beginning January 15 with the Internext-Expo and culminating on January 21 with the AVN Awards. Internext-Expo is a B2B event while the Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) includes both a B2B trade show, a fan show and the Adult Novelty Expo (ANE)

While Paxum has branded all the photos for the upcoming week, there are still plenty of affordable advertising spots available including banners, skinning of galleries and SMS Mobile Text opportunities.
